Monthly cycles.
Your own CE sells on your platform through your gateway, and the chapter keeps all of it. Outside courses sell on the provider's own NASW-branded page, so the provider holds that money and remits the agreed share each cycle against a line-level statement. The demo runs that share at a suggested 5%.

Your courses sell in the Learning Center and your gateway takes the payment, so the transaction is a record you already own, and the chapter that produced the course keeps every dollar of it. Nothing is reported to you, because you were there when it happened.
Each provider gets an NASW-branded purchase page, built for this partnership, that the catalog links out to. Member pricing is already on it and the link carries the member’s chapter code, so every sale is attributed before it happens. The provider collects and remits the agreed share.
